Lychee is now out of season. Lychee season is short and usually during May and June.
Lychee is available for purchase in season only, and due to popularity and demand, fruit generally ships only a few times each season to the mainland. If you would like to be notified of its availability, please sign up for our newsletter below.
ABOUT OUR LYCHEE.
Our tree ripened Hawaii ‘Kaimana’ Lychee are large and have thin red skin and juicy translucent fruit with a small pit. Lychee are sweet and tangy and have been a favored fruit in Asia for centuries.
We pick, pack and ship our fruit with with care to ensure the freshest quality, but they are meant to be eaten fresh from the tree so please eat them and share them right away. They can also be frozen and are superb that way. The fruits are delicate and susceptible to light bruising and browning once picked and packaged.
Orders are shipped Tuesdays or Wednesdays via FedEx 2nd Day Air. Orders must be received and processed 48 hours before we ship to meet USDA/APHIS requirements. If orders are received after our cutoff, they will be shipped the following week. Thank you for your understanding.
All fruit is shipped via FedEx and requires a physical address. Fruit cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. Fruit cannot be shipped to Florida. Shipping is included in the listed price.
OTHER INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW.
All our fresh fruit is sold by the case and cannot be mixed with other fruit within the case due to export regulations. The fruit is treated with electronic pasteurization to meet federal export requirements required by the USDA and APHIS.
